thanks for the help with my team- first thing i notice is you have 4 closers with a shot at a 5th with motte. I think later on you will be able to use these guys for trade bait. I like the Gomez pick for speed, the pelfrey pick for upside, and homer bailey could put it together this year, he is having a nice spring- good high upside pick, lackey and shields is a good combo for your pitching anchors but you need some help from harang and cueto you should be all set on speed and runs scored, the gomez, milledge bruce combo might however hurt the avg. some what. I think you are slightly light on power but will be alright for 14 team league. i would also say if gavin floyd gets out of the gates hot that you should move him b/c i don't expect him to repeat his numbers or be even close. Bruce at 118 is also solid value.

Thanks for your advice on my team, I agree that my pitching needs help.

The first thing that jumps out to me about your team is the abundance of STRONG closers, you've got like 3 solid guys 8-o. I don't see what the other poster says about you being "light" on power, I think your well represented w/ Longoria, Cabrerra and Bruce. I would feel comfortable starting the season with your line up as it is anad then making some pitching tweaks as needed. You can always dangle one of your closers for trade bait to fill a need later on.

Good Luck ;-)

I am not a fan of your pitching staff and feel trading Longoria for a guy like Beltre or shoot higher with Alexi Ramirez (contract year) along with a GREAT SP (examples include Lackey, Kazmir) would be a good move for you. Harang is not a SP you want as your third starter and Cueto is young and still needs to get his act together. The rest of your lineup is decent enough to get by. I would drop Pelfrey and Homer Bailey as they are a waste of space and target another batter and an underrated SP (Purcey, Smoltz, Kuroda).
