Ianetta or Sandoval

Postby hscsoph » Mon Mar 09, 2009 5:00 pm

I am in a league where both guys are C eligible and although I have Ianetta a little higher on my board; I love the fact that Sandoval doesn't play C and qualifies for that position. WHo do you trust more for this year and what round do you thik these guys should be going off the board? I am in a 2 player keeper league and have D Wright and MigCab to start the year and I got the #1 pick this year and Reyes is available, so not a bad start to a winner.

WHIR, thanks!

I like Iannetta. Look at what he produced with just about split-time behind the plate.

This year, he's gonna play every day, and you can probably expect 20-22 HR's out of him with his other numbers being slightly above average for a catcher.

I also like Ianetta. He had 18 homers last year in less than 400 at-bats, 333 to be exact. If he gets 500 at-bats next year 25 homers is not a reach. He also slugged over .500 which is fourth behind Nappoli, McCann, and Kelly Shoppach...

i like sandoval. i drafted him too for the exact same reasoning that he will get C eligibility without playing there. Sandoval is gonna hit in the middle of the giants lineup and get more ab's.
