H2H, AL and NL 12 categories: Hitting: BA, OBP, HR, RBI, R, SB Pitching: ERA, Kd9, QS, S, Wins minus Losses, WHIP
Start: C, 1B, 2B, 3B, SS, MI, CI, 3 OF, DH, 5 SP, 3 RP 6 reserves can be anything, 2 IR (must be on MLB IR)
I was the league runner-up last season. We have a 25 round draft and can keep 2 players between rounds 11 and 25 in the same round we drafted them last year. Free agent pick ups can be kept in the last round (25). Here are my options, which two should I keep? (I have omitted the players whose ADP is lower than where I can keep them).
Carlos Delgado - Round 11 Kerry Wood - Round 19 Jonathon Broxton - Round 20 J.D. Drew - Round 22 A.J Pierzynski - Round 24 Kevin Kouzmanoff - Round 25 Randy Winn - Round 25 Ryan Dempster - Round 25
none of your hitters are really worth keeping to me, as they can all easily be re-drafted in a similar spot this year
there are three real choices here to me...wood, broxton, and dempster...out of the 3, i think you def keep broxton, then the other choice comes down to whether or not you want to keep another closer (giving you two very solid guys and allowing you to ignore that position for the rest of the draft), or bank on dempster having another good season. me, i keep the two closers and roll with that...if you keep dempster, i say you trade him right after the draft

I was going to say the same thing as the other poster (before I read his comment). I would keep Broxton and Wood. Partially because my league hoards SVs, but also because they seem to have the best value regardless.
Thanks for the help on mine. I guess I would lean toward Delgado and Broxton. Both would go well before the pick you give up. I like Wood a lot too, but between favoring hitters and his history of arm problems, I give the knod to Delgado.
