He played 61 games and posted almost 200 ABs (197 to be exact). In those ABs the posted a .299AVG, 32 Runs, 5 HRs, 32 RBIs. Not too shabby if you ask me. But the nicer thing is that he's projected to bat 2nd in the lineup behind Cameron Maybin and in front of Hanley Ramirez. Not very many Catchers get to bat in such a sweet spot like that.
I agree. He can be had really cheap and seems to be off almost everyone's radar.

I think a lot of people still think the Marlins may sign a FA which leads to Baker being undervalued.

Dude went 3-4 today. In 35 ST ABs, he's struck out once and currently is sporting a .371 BA. Not a whole lot else going on, only 5 Rs and RBIs, no HRs, but he's only played in 11 games. Someone to keep an eye on.

Yeah, I just picked him up as a potential 2nd catcher since it appears that Jeff Clement will start in AAA.
Baker went in round in the middle of round 20 in our 2 C mixed league with 14 teams. Just to give a data point. After Kurt Suzuki and AJ Pierzinski but before Flores and Clement.
