Blake or Reynolds for 3B?

Postby spberg82 » Mon Mar 09, 2009 10:50 am

My league just drafted the other day (Points league), and I'm not too convinced that my 3B is going to be strong for me this year.

My 3B eligible players are...Ian Stewart and Mark Reynolds, neither which I feel are very strong options there. I can go to the waivers to grab Casey Blake or Dallas McPherson, but those are about my only 2 options on the WW.

Let me know...WHIR if I can

id go with Reynolds pretty easily!

Just make sure the rest of your team can help with the average/K's but his power at the hot corner is too good compared to your other options you list

unless you have some huge negative for the K's???

Basic -1 point/K...I like Reynolds, I just feel like I should have better options.

yeah pretty standard..tough to swallow but I really think he is best of what you list.i hear you though youd like a better option in general..wait and see how some others feel about the other 3B I could be in the minority

ideally stewart just takes off for you as well..that would be great ;-D

Reynolds and Stewart should be fine for you. Between the two, they'll definitely hit more than 20 HRs which is about what Blake will max out with, and McPherson is basically Reynolds in disguise.

I agree that you should stick with the 2 that you have. I don't see you upgrading right now on the WW.
