I did a search for him on here and it looks like no one has posted this yet. I just clicked on catchers today, and his name showed up as like the 8th catcher, but I hadn't looked in about a week, so I'm not sure when he was added. In my league, we adjusted the Yahoo setting so that players are added to the game when Yahoo puts them in the database, not when they are called up. Just wondering what everyone thinks about Yahoo's adding of players (since Wieters may see time in AAA to start the season). In past years Yahoo would never add rookies to the game until they saw time in the majors. At least that's the way I recall it.
Anyway, I guess the whole point of my ramblings is that for leagues that have already drafted, this is a pretty big deal. What do you guys think?
Okay, that's embarassing. Now that I think about it, the likely reason why I couldn't find him earlier is that it was only last week that I changed the setting to allow players to be added to the game when Yahoo adds them to the database. After I changed that setting, Weiters must have appeared. If that makes sense. Sorry for adding more clutter to the boards, mods feel free to lock this one down.
