Heavily Bump Up Markakis & Halladay?

Postby jvmillion83 » Sun Mar 08, 2009 10:32 pm

10x10 H2H redraft league, I have first pick so I'm already going Pujols

avg, hrs, rbis, sbs, runs, bb, ks, obp, xtra base hits, hits
wins, era, whip, ks, saves, quality starts, innings, complete games, losses, walks

I want to go hitter/pitcher with my next 2 picks but if Manny or Beltran are gone, I'm heavily considering Markakis. With the extra hitting stats, he's near elite. Is it also dumb to pick Halladay over guys like CC or Hamels? Halladay's rubber arm can easily get most innings in baseball and dominated cgs last year and was a top dog in quality starts. I'm just worried about CC's overuse and Hamels going alot of innings.

I have the 3 bats Beltran/ Markakis/ Manny, and any one of the 3 arms you mentioned could be tops this yr, go with your gut.

Great idea. Go with the best bat at 2 then Halladay (IMO the SP in baseball)

I've got no problem with your reasoning.
