Postby amarlls » Sun Mar 08, 2009 10:11 pm

If you could some way swing that it's great for you, although it may be asking a little too much from him. With your first deal I'm not too high on getting Hunter back in return so if you could do Votto/Quentin for Berkman I'd do it. Quentin isn't guaranteed to repeat last year's numbers so I do think you need someone like Votto to go along with him as Berkman is extremely proven.
Thanks to soty for this sig

Thanks for helping on mine....

I think the difference between Quentin and Berkman will not be all that great. I would only do the deal if I feel that I need another outfielder (Hunter). If he fills a need, then it could make some sense.

i'd make it, i don't think theres much of a difference between berkman and quentin, and hunter still has a good amount of value.

Do it! Quentin will out perform Berkman this year and Hunter is a real good throw in.

If you can get him to do the deal including Drew and YoGa it's a good deal. Otherwise I'd hold off, actually. Berk typically has big-time stats to start seasons, so you may be able to bring in even more once the season starts. I like your OF as is with the exception of Drew, really. See if he wants Delgado, maybe?
