Should I be cautious?

Should I be cautious?

Postby xavierU » Sun Mar 08, 2009 8:39 pm

Im being asked to join a league where there are 3 commissioners. It seems to me very peculiar. Is that the norm to have more than one commish running the league? Any advice is greatly appreciated.

I have been in leagues already where there has been multiple commissioners.

I'm taking for granted you don't personally know these people. You just really have to use your own judgment. But if you don't feel comfortable, and think there might be a chance for some shady practice, I would stay clear.

I almost never play in leagues with a commishioner that I don't know unless somebody I trust told me they could be trusted. Keep in mind that commishioners have the power to trade away your players, edit your roster, lock you, etc.

Having multiple commishioners just multiplies that. They are probably friends that just want to ruin some people's summer. I would find another league.
