Venezuela doesn't have any major league starters left for the winner of Canada/Italy. They used King Felix to beat the Italians. I think their manager has dropped the ball here.

1 - adam dunn's HR hasn't landed yet

2 - rick sutcliffe refers to derek jeter exclusively as 'the captain'

Carlos Silva should be fair well against either of them. I'd rather pitch Silva vs. Italy/Canada than against the USA.

Anyway, Silva can't go on Tuesday, according to the rules they posted on ESPN. He had over 50 pitches against Italy. Their manager used two of their three major league starters against them.

It can always be worse. Canada decided to save their best pitchers for the game against Venezuela, and in the end, they ended up losing twice and not getting there because of that decision.
