I was noticing the same thing. Will Carroll is a guru and normally whatever he says gets sourced. Normally at least Rotoworld or Sportsline player updates will mention it.

Yet, I haven't heard one single peep from anyone else regarding a tear. Not any other site or paper or anything.

I had to look it up but there is also an MCL in your arm. It was relatively obscure, at least obscure enough that wikipedia doesn't mention it on the MCL page or the elbow page. But if you expand your references past wiki then it exists.

Teams don't usually place anyone on the DL until right before their first game of the season.

I have to make a keeper decision - either keep Ervin or keep Josh Johnson. Ervin's in the 18th or Johnson in the 15th.

I've got Ervin on one of my teams as well, I'm hoping it's not that serious but the league I have him in is pretty deep in pitching still on the FA list so I should be OK. Thanks for the updates!!

Wow. I thought I would have heard something by now but I haven't heard a thing. Any one else know more about this injury? I haven't even heard of a time table for his return yet.
