How do you think I did? Chipper is nice insurance incase A-Rod misses time, and he'll be great trade bait once A-Rod proves he's 100%. I like my closers (not sure about Perez, reports are saying Motte is the closer as of today). I really want to sell high on Cliff Lee as I do not believe he will replicate last years magical run. Please leave feedback and I will do the same in your thread.

I get the feeling you can just write off Arod, just don't like the press coming out of NYC. I think you need another starter... maybe pick one up once you get the chance to DL smoltz and Arod. Nolasco should be real good for you... but good luck dealing Lee, I bet the market isn't real strong for him. You have a lot of old hitters but as long as they hold up you should do okay. Just get another starter or two so you can keep up in the counting stats from week to week.

You need another SP. You'd be going into the season with only 4 (Smoltz is expected back in June.) If there is a decent FA option, drop Matsui for him now before someone else grabs him. If you want to wait until you can DL Smoltz for to add a SP, you can go that route but you may be better off dropping Matsui too and being able to add 2.

Also, I don't think you're going to be able to trade away Cliff Lee until he's made a few starts that are 2008-esque. If he gets off to a fast start again, you'd then be able to sell high but you may want to hang onto him if it seems like he's for real (and you're thin at SP so moving him may not make sense).

I would drop some of your bench to provide depth at positions other than OF

Help me out?

Meche, Perez/Pelfrey, Volstad are the SPs I'd take in that group. The Royals have a solid lineup this year so I think Meche is the guy.

Need some help.

Dump Matsui, add Meche right away.

Once you can DL Smoltz/A-Rod, use one of those slots to add another SP. Pelfrey would be my choice here, but it will depend on who is available.

Yup, I would drop Matsui and add Meche. He is your most solid option...if you wanted upside I would look at Pelfrey but he is already seeing some arm problems this year so be wary! I don't like Arod this year, I think there is a good chance he will sit alot (once or twice a week possibly, especially near the end of the year when you need him most)...he will still be great but just wont put you over the top or anything. Besides the pitching move, I would sit on what you have and see how it plays out in the early going.

Thoughts on mine? Thanks
