Looking for some thoughts on a trade I was just proposed. The other guy really wants Pujols, so I think I may try to get more out of him, but I don't wanna pass up what might be a good trade. FYI he also has Hanley Ramirez, Manny Ramirez and Russell Martin...
The trade:
I get: Justin Morneau + Ichiro + John Maine I give: Pujols + Justin Upton + J. Verlander
Don't really care much about the SP's in this deal. I'm leaning toward NO but any thoughts would be awesome. WHIR, thanks!

I'd do it, just because u have listet Dunn as a Starter. Terrible AVG. Yet, depends on what u need. U get AVG and SB from Ichiro, but HR and RBI from Dunn.
Stick with what you have. You don't need SB with Figgins, Jeter and Crawford. That is the only advantage Ichiro brings to you. When Dunn's matchup doesn't look good, plug in Upton. He might have his breakout year also.
Am I the only one who thinks that's a terrible offer? Pujols does more to balance Dunn out and you get all those power numbers to boot. Ichiro is getting older, and plays for a terrible team that shipped off it's best hitter. No way would I make that deal.
absolutely terrible trade offer...look at it this way
pujols = top 3 player in the game (top 2 with the ARod inj) j. ups = decent player, could be in for a breakout, but should put up nice enough numbers for a BN guy
morneau = very very good player, but no where near pujols ichiro = aging, SBs, AVG will be there, with that offense not so sure about the runs
so you are trading one of the best players in the game, and a potential breakout guy for a really good player, and a guy who doesnt benefit your team a ton...and for what its worth, i actually like maine more than verlander, but just by a hair
