I'm the commish in a league that's been running for several years, and some of the guys have expressed interest in a h2h league this year. I think everyone is aware of the rules and the difference between h2h and roto: my question is, what kind of things should I do to prevent potential manipulation of this format? For example, with no transaction cap and no statistical ramifications, one could just add and drop SPs everyday to gather up wins and Ks (though the risk of bad ERA and WHIP increases). This is just one example, of course.
Would anyone recommend putting a weekly transaction cap on the GMs - or add losses as a stat? Or add neither of those and do something else instead?
Just looking to keep it as fair as possible.
