I'm leaning towards Rollins at #11. With Arod questionable, everyone moves up a notch. I'm thinking Rollins over Howard, Utley, Holliday. If Tex is there, I would take him, but he will mostly likely be gone now.
Assuming your in a 12 team league , I wouldn't even take Rollins in the 2nd round. I'd much rather take Howard, Utley, Holliday,Kinsler or Teixeira over Rollins.
you think his stats will fall that much? His projections on most sites are about the same as Tex, Holiday , but being a SS would make him the better choice..

I know Rollins missed some time last year , but if I showed you his numbers without seeing who it was you wouldn't even think about him that early. 76 R 11 HR 59 rbi 47 SB .277 ave in 556 at bats .
He did have 2 great years , but I'm not convinced that he can be that good again. It's possible , and Maybe it's just me but I can't see taking him that early. As far as projections, they're not enough to make me change my mind.
I'd take him there in a heartbeat. I think there is a massive drop off after him at SS. He was banged up last year and still gave you plenty of steals and some pop. He should bounce back to somewhere between his 2006-2007 stats. You know the runs will be there in that line up so worst comes to worst you have an elite source of runs/steals at a tough to fill position.
last year due to the injury he only had 556 AB's. that seems like alot already, but when you take into account, the 2 prior years, he averaged 700 AB's. that's an amazing number of AB's. his HR,RBI and more so, Runs will all go back up next year. If you are picking 9-12, Rollins should be your guy.He is Jose Reyes with less SB but more power.
Count me among those that would pass on Rollins in the first.
I realize that SS is the big 3 and then a big dropoff, but I can't be moved to take Rollins ahead of Utley or Teix unless you're in a league that plays a MI spot.

yes! that would be golden. i dont know who you'd grab first tho. i guess it depends on who you think has a better shot at comin back. or who you'd rather have first and foremost. i do think 2b is deeper than ss this yr so there is that. go rollins and then if utley is gone you can grab a good power bat.
