They both have a ton of potential. I like Eaton more as well, but I would not rule out picking up Cliff Lee as a number 4 or 5 starter.

I think both have lots of potential. This year I think Eaton will have the better year, but I see Lee as a better sp in the future.

People have blown the Padres' young pitchers way out of proportion, giving vague mentioning of a "good league", a "good team", or a "good park". The Padres are not going to make Eaton an outstanding game winner. The park alone will not give him a good ERA and ratio. If you were sensible you'd see from their major- and minor-league stats that Lee is a much better option.
