Manny's interview on Baseball Tonight just now was hilarious. I love this guy. He's a 2nd rounder IMO, I'm hoping to get him in one of my drafts.

In my H2H where 16 teams keep 3 bats each the projected top 3 available players on draft day are:

Albert (Will go #1)
ARod (I hate risk)
Morneau...

I am thinking Manny with my #2 pick. I am feeling it with that great lineup they have there.

I would be adding Manny to my 4th round Josh Hamilton. My 7th round Jose Reyes and my 10th round Matt Kemp.

Hamilton/Berkman
Hamilton/Manny
maybe Hamilton/fielder

OR

Teix/Manny
Hamilton/Manny

I would prefer to have a 1B in the first two rounds, but hamilton and manny is tempting. Any thoughts?

I love Manny this year. Like some have already said, the Dodgers are the perfect team for him.

I don't think he will quit either. He saw how much that little fiasco in Boston hurt his leverage and he wants a big contract.

Very interesting to hear that he is only receiving $10 mil up front and parts of his contract will be deferred without interest until 2013. Apparently that makes the present day value $18.4 mil which will leave him that much more motivated to opt out and search for a new day next year....
