I hate taking pitchers in keeper rounds in fact I usually don't draft any pitchers until round 7 or 8 but its J Santana??? I have to take him or no? MY first year in fantasy baseball I drafted Prior in the 1st round because of his overall rank, well we all know how that turned out.

So do I take a risk with a SP again in a keeper round or do I just draft two big bats? What about Bay, kemp, and Gonzalez?

1st Johan Santana
3rd Morneau/Bay (whichever is available)
12th Adrian Gonzalez but he probably won't make it...consolation prizes would be McCann or Granderson.

any thoughts who would you want out of those players the 1st and 3rd pick are the ones i am deciding on

I know Santana, i just can't believe i am going to taking a pitcher, hate it but the value is there

Hope i don't start a curse on # 1 SP's!!!!

So if you would please rank a top five list out of the listed players above (excluding Santana)

This analysis is spot on. I would not do it any differently.
