Rodriguez also spawned a candy-bar craze in Canada. Fans would throw Oh Henry! bars on the field after his home runs.
I remember the Candy Bars

Good ole Henry Rodriguez. Isn't he 40 now? Maybe Montreal should get him, he created more fan interest than Vlad Guerrero ever did. It's strange how nobody went to the games when they had one of the best hitters in baseball, but when they had H-Rod, they'd all head out to the stadium and throw chocolate bars on the field. It's amazing what having the same name as a type of candy will do for a player's popularity..........I guess Babe Ruth would be popular if he played in Montreal

"Jack, will you call me, if you're able?"
"I've got your phone number written, in the back of my Bible."

I like H-rod and all and I hope he makes the team but only as a bench player. I'd hate to see him take the starting spot of a young guy like Tike Redman.
