You should hang onto the guys. You can try to sneak by w/ pitching or pick up some 'sleepers' when the season starts but dudes missing infielders are going to see GLARING holes in their lineups once they start playing for real.
I am not a big advocate of trading a lot at this point as, no one is playing. Sure it's fun to play but some of the best pickups in our league last year were guys who weren't even drafted. That's a big part of the fun.
Guys who develop a big 'strategy' now, basing everythign on 1) last year's numbers 2) spring training stats are just proving that they are deluded. If you can take advantage of them now, go for it but, if they don't bite, just leave them hanging. They won't forget who has a spare A-list shortstop when they start losing close games when the playing starts for real. I picked up Julio Lugo in the last round on the offhand chance he does ok and becomes a commodity. Your dudes should only increase in value w/ time. If you can wait them out!!
I would offer that same guy that offered Colon for Boone, Renteria for Colon. You already have Nomar and Kaz at SS. If it is a 2B he is looking for I would try to get more than Colon for Boone. Either way, you need to strengthen your starters. And, of course, the question is- what SP's are on the FA list?

I really think that you can do better than that by waiting. IF there's some dudes to get you through the first couple of weeks available on waivers. Jeez, the guy who was in LAST place for much of the first part of last year WON our league as he hung in their w/ his big draft choices, like Tejada and Garret Anderson, until after the draft.
I think Renterria, in terms of his positional value, is worth quite a bit more than Colon. Unless, of course, doughnuts or Sumo are categories!! I'd say Renterria is an 'A' shortstop but Colon is a low B, high C pitcher, at best.
Don't panic. Yes, your pitching is weak, but if last year taught us anything it's that pitchers come out of nowhere. As long as you are active on the waiver wire, you'll be able to pick up solid pitchers. The same is not true for hitters. Meaning, all of these guys that are trying to wait you out, will be knowcking on your door soon enough. Peavy could be very solid this year. Also, Lohse will start off hot like last year. Mark that down. When he does, ship him off solo or ina package, for some top pitchers. If you make any trades now, try shipping off one of your closers for a starter. Baez, Julio or benitez.
