Idk if you guys know this, but Travis Ishikawa might be on the block for the right price. Rumor has it he hit a ball out of the ballpark, and he plays first, so making the transition to the other hot corner shouldn't be hard. Just remember, the asking price will be what you'd expect to pay for a guy who can hit the ball out of a ballpark.

My guess is that the original referred to the fact that Nady at 3B isn't really a ton more valuable than Nady at OF. If Nady stays healthy (which is big if, considering his history), he'd likely get you Beltre-ish numbers. Not exactly the most EPIC pickup...

I'd say he has the same talent as Beltre but on a much better team. If Beltre was traded to the yankees and started at third id consider him an epic pick uup too. 3B with 300ish avg's 90+ rbi's and 20+homers are great pickups.

Those numbers are good, but I'm not sure if he could hit them. He struggled a bit once he got to NY, and he's always been a better first half guy and somewhat of an injury risk. You know what though? If he did take over third, you're right, he would be a nice little pickup.
