2009 Predictions?

The Yanks won 89 games last year with a completely dysfunctional lineup and pitching staff. Guys like Sydney Ponson and Darryl Rasner started about 35% of their games. Posada was lost for the most of the season, as was Matsui. ARod missed time for the first time in...a long time. Cano had an awful season.

Still, even with all of their issues they still managed to win 89 games in a division with Boston and Tampa who had a great year. Posada appears to be healthy and obviously they have upgraded significantly with additions of Sabbathia, Burnett and Teixeira. Predictions on where they land this year?

If A-Rod misses the majority of the season then they won't make the playoffs IMO. If the recent news holds true and he only misses 6-9 weeks, then I would say the Yankees win 95 games and a playoff spot, either division or wild card.
