#2 pick

Postby GoldenHawk » Wed Mar 04, 2009 10:58 pm

5x5 H2H league.

Arod is going #1. do i consider taking Pujols with the second pick?

I have 2,6, 11th pick after trades, so do i consider taking Pujols to pair with Cabrera at 6 and either Howard/Utley/Teix at 11?

We have a MI, CI and Util slot so it could really do some damage having 3 bashers like that...

I think you have to go HanRam. MI is very thin this year and like you pointed out Tex or Howard should be available at 11 to fill your 1B instead of Puljos.

You could consider it but Hanley is #1 for me.

In a h2h league, I'm taking Pujols and all the other power I can amass.

I still like Hanley over Pujols even in H2H. With three first round picks, you can still build on power, but at least Hanley gives your team a speed dimension that Pujols can't provide.

The conversation starts and ends with Hanley, my choice as the #1 player in fantasy given he plays at a thin position and gives you a distinct advantage every week at SS outside of the team that has Reyes...If you get Tex he is not that dramatically far off from anyone else at his position.

Definitely grab Hanley then maybe Sizemore/Braun and follow it with Tex/Howard/Utley, if you can get three of those guys you're golden
