Minor league players question

Postby hojo17 » Wed Mar 04, 2009 10:45 pm

I'm in a keepeg league that has a minor league team as well that can be kept FOREVER as long as it doesn't exceed 10 players. So...I have made quite a few trades and nice picks but need to cut this list to 10 players...help...who would you cut/keep? I need to cut 6 players...what do you think about my cut players compared to my keepers?

Jemile Weeks, 2nd (Oakland) - will keep
Tim Beckham, SS (Tampa Bay) - will keep
Reid Brignac, SS (Tampa Bay) - will keep
Lonnie Chisenhall, SS (Cleveland) - cut
Cale Iorg, SS (Detroit) - cut
Neftali Soto, SS (Cincinnati) - cut
Oscar Tejeda, SS (Boston) - cut
Kevin Ahrens, 3rd (Toronto) - will keep
Matt Dominguez, 3rd (Florida) - will keep
Conor Gillaspie, 3rd (San Francisco) - cut
Mike Moustakas, 3rd (Kansas City) - will keep
Pablo Sandoval, C (San Francisco) - will keep
Matt Wieters, C (Baltimore) - will keep
Nelson Cruz, OF (Texas) - will keep
Aaron Cunningham, OF (Arizona) - cut
Desmond Jennings, OF (Tampa Bay) - will keep

I think I agree with what you got, accept i might keep oscar tejada instead of brignac. Not big on him and he is behind bartlett now with Beckham on is heels.

not sure how the rest of your team stacks up and if you can find room to keep Nelson Cruz on your big league roster so you can keep Aaron Cunningham...he's the only guy that you are cutting that i would try and find a way to keep

Might Cunningham over Ahrens be better?

Otherwise, you're dead on for me. You've actually got a nice collection here, from Wieters to Jennings to Mouse to Cruz. Nice work.
