Both of these guys intrigue me as they have a ton of potential but the consensus is that they both still have a lot of room to go. Both play positions where a big pat is a premium. Drew kinda broke out last year but it seems a lot of people think Gordon has a higher ceiling. I know it's spring training but I think Gordon hit his 2nd homerun in the past two days today.
This year and moving foward which one of these two do you see having the most success?

Gordon. He came to spring training early to work on his game. He is trying to drive the ball more and become more of a contact hitter. I'm thinking big things from him this year.

I'd go with Drew...he seemed to progress really well last season. His 2008 post allstar split is very nice. Gordon could pan out too (being rated an elite prospect a couple years ago and showing flashes of talent). It could be argued that Gordon has more pure upside, but I think Drew is the safer pick with a fair share of upside himself.

You do realize that the title of the thread is upside?

Only after I completed my answer...
I submitted my post with the idea that I'd prefer Drew...but that Gordon has more pure upside...then I remembered the title...then I thought "screw it, since I explained myself they'll see what I meant".
