This is how a 12 team Yahoo Auto Draft will turn out based on the default rankings.
I've asked before if people have preferences for draft position....if they'd rather have the 1/24 pick or the 12/13 pick. Most people say the higher the pick the better, and I agree. But I am anxious for the season to begin and have been playing around with my rankings and decided to see how the teams would turn out. I only did the first 14 rounds though...
Which team would you rather have? I like 3 for pitching, and 7 or 12 for hitting.

Good exercise, though you are going into this assuming that every owner does not edit their pre-rankings, which is probably not going to happen. It does help you to get an idea how you should edit your rankings prior to an Auto-Draft.
This is why, though, that I haven't done one in several years.
Where's the fun? Unless you like to take trainwrecks, and fix em, I guess.

If you want to see how players are going in drafts, I'd recommend trying a few of their mock drafts. They're quite good, actually. You can only sign up for them 1/2 hour in advance, so you don't have many deadbeat managers.

I know it's flawed and unrealistic. I didn't intend for it to be a valuable exercise, just something to do until draft day comes. I guess best case scenario it helps illustrate the value of pre-ranking if you do auto draft.
My league has done auto for the past 3 years, but I've finally managed to talk them into going live this year.
