footballisbetter.com wrote:I can keep 3 players. It is a h2h points league (not roto). It is also an auction, so usually I try to keep the best values..not neccesarily the best players. These are my best options:

Hamilton $26 ;-D
Adrien Gonzales $19
Youkilis $15 ;-D
Markakis $23
McLouth $10
Lincecum $18 ;-D

I am pretty sure that I am going to stay with Lincecum. So I need to pick 2 of the other players. I would love to keep Hamilton, but am wondering if Youk and McLouth would be better values. BTW, we start our auction with $280 if that matters.

We also have 2 protected free agents, which means that we can match the highest bid if we want to keep them. One will be Hanley, who I can't keep this year because I kept him the past 2. So I will need to decide on my 2nd protected free agents also.

Hamilton and Lincecum are the best players of the group so they are the definite players to keep. I will go with Youk here due to his 1b/3b flexibility.

I agree hamilton and Lincecum are definites. Keeping Youkilis gives you flexibility to try and get a stud 1B or 3B as well. Markakis might be a guy to protect like Hanley.

Thanks for helpign with mine..

Lin and Hamilton are a given....

Personally I would keep Youk. last year was crazy and he won't do it again, but he is rock solid and 3rd sucks this year.

Lincecum and Hamilton like everyone else says, and I think McLouth is your next best value pick. Then I'd protect Markakis or Youk, with the edge to Markakis.

I agree with the majority. But I'm more deterred because of my hatred towards Youkilis since he looks just like Kevin Shaffer, formally of the Browns. Hated that guy with a passion
