I'll admit I don't know too much about Ramirez, what makes him so risky? Is he injury prone?

depends where you are drafting and where you want to spend a pick on these guys. also who you selected earlier in the draft may help you with your decision. both are 2b eligible but alexei will have SS eligibility quickly based on your leagues settings. if you selected all power and no SB early in your draft, you need roberts. alexei is good for about 15 sb himself, which isnt bad. so if you are forming a more rounded team of power and speed, i'd go with alexei. also due to their ADP's,(roberts 35th overall,alexei 50th overall) its concieveable you could get both and be quite solid up the middle.
