Well you have all been so helpful so far

Some thoughts on the projections as I glance through:

Hitters:
Holy crap draft Ian Stewart. Projection: .281/26/95/86.
Hamilton just makes the top 40.
Jay Bruce decides to ignore his R/L splits and hit 37 HRs this year
Joe "Killer" Koshansky will hit 29 HRs and drive in 109 this year. Yes that's right, Joe Koshansky.

Pitchers:

So... they don't project WHIP? That's helpful.

Nothing too exciting on the pitching projections, fairly conservative except for..

Rich Harden and CC. Harden's modest line is an ERA of 2.37 (!!) in 95 IP with 136 K's.
CC ERA of 3.07 with 222 K's in 223 IP.

Billy Wagner opts to return earlier than expected and pitches 57 inning with a 2.84 era. Should be able to get him pretty cheap in a draft.

People shouldn't rip projection systems without understanding that system's background and goals first. Complaining about ZiPS projected playing time for fringe players/minor leaguers is about the same as complaining that MARCEL is too conservative.
