I know most of you could care less about Detroit, but I just felt the need to share this article.

Not much shocks me these days, but this article really blew me away. I dont know what to say about it - it would be comical if it wasnt a tragedy.

Given that this is the state that previously elected Jennifer Granholm, John Conyers, Kwame Kilpatrick, etc, I can't say I'm surprised. It is quite sad though. At least it serves as a lesson to other urban population centers, not that I'd expect them to listen.
