OK, what's your scoring here? Looking back, you never told us how your league scores, and that makes a HUGE difference. In a TB, Berkman is pretty good too, because of doubles. He hits a lot of 'em.

But it also makes a player like Pedroia more vaulable because he got 200+ hits and a metric ton of doubles.

Honestly, gotta have your full scoring to give you any help.
