If you REALLY want Homer, drop Bonderman.

Would anyone have a problem with me dropping Carlos Villanueva for Bailey? I'm not handcuffing him to Hoffman or anything and holds guys are pretty easy to find during the season.

I would drop Bonderman. He's dealing with shoulder problems.

You can't be serious. Clearly some people will never get the fact that Bailey is a complete bust.

I wouldn't read too much into the shoulder thing, it sounds like it's just stiffness due to him not throwing for 10 months. I'm optimistic that the surgery to fix his TOS brings back the Bonderman that started the '07 season 10-1 with a 3.50 ERA.

That said, if you're dead set on picking up Bailey (I probably wouldn't, personally), Bonderman might be your best bet to drop. He's got filthy stuff, but you could argue that he has to prove he can stay healthy before you hold onto him. I'd take a flier on him over Bailey, but that might just be me being a homer.
