Agh, I was great at hitting in MVP 2005, and I haven't played a baseball video game since then. Man, am I out of practice. :-o

I'm K'ing like Mark Reynolds and hitting like Garrett Atkins. At least I'm pitching like a solid James Shields.

Any tips on throwing breaking balls more accurately? I can throw my fastball and change just fine at like 75% control, but even when I put control for sliders and curves up to 99, the ball either drops a foot below the zone or cuts a foot away. Maybe 5% of my breaking pitches go where I want them to, and that makes them nearly useless.

I got a PS3 for Christmas and my girlfriend just bought me the game. Can't wait to play it. :-)

I just finished my first season of RttS, I would play one game a day and didn't play it every day. I was the 1B for the Twins AA team and had a 51 game hitting streak. I hit .492 with 24 HRs and 83 RBIs. Don't ask me how I hit 24 HRs, more than half of them were BARELY making it over. And hitting for AVG is easy, just guess fastball and don't swing unless you get one. And always take a gamble on taking when you have 2 strikes and no balls, don't swing, it will usually be a waste pitch. They actually made me the backup 1B at the MLB level now. Hopefully Morneau or Brendan Harris go down, as my second position is 3B.
