When you guys are hitting do you read the pitch and react using the left analog stick to choose location or do you just hit press the X button and hit?

i always guess fastball too and try to take as many breaking pitches as i can. my flaw is that i jump at every pitch and tend to not work the pitchers.

Me too, I always seem to guess fastball unless a knuckleballer is up then I guess that pitch

the thing is, i dont really know you, or anyone else in the league probably. i would hate to invest any amount of time into it, just to have 10 teams quit after 5 games.
we need a really solid core to get anything like this off and running, let alone getting through a substantial amount of games.
that would be the good thing about doing it with all cafe guys.. if someone doesn't play their games or put the effort into it, they have to answer to other cafe members..
You guys talking PS3? I am a lamer and only have a PS2 (and a x360, but I didn't want 2k9), but would be down if anyone else still has the ancient platform
I'm just getting into it and can't hit consistently to save my life though - any hitting tips/settings tweaks that would help me out?
