The only thing I might have changed was the soundtrack. Sometimes it worked, sometimes it didn't but when it didn't, it felt really out of place.

100% agree. Hated the use of Sounds of Silence especially.

The other one was Hallelujah by Leonard Cohen. Good song, but it really didn't work during the sex scene. It started kind of abruptly and didn't really fit the scene.

There was one more too that I can't remember right now.

how did Bubastis look?

Avoided this thread until today ($6 IMAX Tuesday!). Danny, Bubastis wasn't in it for very long, but was very cool looking. Surprisingly realistic.

The thing I was most concerned about was Rorschach's portrayal, and Haley/Snyder did not disappoint. He made the movie, IMO.

Sounds of Silence? It was used in the Graduate but I don't think the song itself is about adultery.

Ah. Yeah that's true, but I still think Cohen's voice, the arrangement and that scene didn't fit right. Maybe Buckley's version could have been better.

the hallelujah was WAY misplaced. And the acting in that part was terrible.

Sounds of Silence was misplaced too. It's so iconic in the Graduate, and in Old School, I can't hear that song without thinking of it.

I didn't think the soundtrack was all that. I like all of the songs, but their use was sometimes questionable.
