Who should I draft as my backup Catcher?

Shoppach (Biggest upised/I have VMart)
Inge (C,3B,OF is very very very nice)
Hernandez (could be great in Cincy)

Lineups (lost in championship last year)

Catcher: Victor Martinez C/1B
First Baseman: Mark Teixeira 1B
Second Baseman: Brandon Phillips 2B
Third Baseman: Miguel Cabrera 3B/1B
Short Stop: Hanley Ramirez SS

Out Field: Ichiro Suzuki OF
Utility: Cameron Maybin OF
Utilty: Derrek Lee 1B

Bench: Lastings Milledge OF
Bench: Jeremy Hermida OF

shoppach for sure. he has the most upside of the bunch and makes sense since he'll have a ton of playing time if vmart goes down.

Is Jesus Flores around? I'll take a guy that finished 11th amount catcher's in RBI's despite only playing in 90 games.

I like Laird, and Hundley (careful he's got power but his a BA killer and should be avoided in leagues that penalize strikeouts) as fall back options. Recently Pudge is back on my Radar, he believes he is a #1 catcher (half the battle) and blames his production loss on depression over his divorce and personal life. Looks like the Marlins are gonna pick him up, so keep an eye on him. He's made it pretty clear he will not sign as a back up. On your list I'd grab Hernandez, but the others should fall a bit more allowing you to focus on other positions. I like the idea of grabbing Shoppach, as he is the real life back up for your fantasy catcher.

Shoppach. You will likely only play your #2 C if your #1 goes down so a handcuff pick would be in order here.
