I run a website and I see that a lot of you have some good looking logo's/graphics at the bottom of your pages. I was wondering what program you guys used to create those. Also, how hard are they to create? Could you easily create a logo for a company? Any help would be appreciated.
Oh ya, i should probably throw in something about fantasy baseball. With Phil Nevin getting injured it's only inevitable that Griffey is next followed by Kevin Brown.

As to the logos, Zimm has been doing most of them and they look very good.
Yes doctor, I am sick. Sick of those who are spineless. Sick of those who feel self-entitled. Sick of those who are hypocrites. Yes doctor, an army is forming. Yes doctor, there will be a war. Yes doctor, there will be blood.....
As to graphic programs, it doesn't get better than Adobe Photoshop.
There are others out there, like FreeHand, CorelDraw and GIMP (for Linux) and each has some good things but nothing beats Photoshop.
Designing logos? Well, guys who studied arts and stuff charge a lot of $$$ for a "simple" logo. Designing one takes creativity, and will most likely include some typography to include the company's name or first letter thereof. That's much more than putting some pics together with some text and making it look good to extraordinarily.
I make quite a few signatures. I am not too creative though so making a logo from scatch is not my forte*. If you want a logo for your fantasy league LeBer makes some very nice ones. you can shoot him up with a PM or you can reach him on AIM at LeBeR Ownz.

Oh, and I use Jasc Paintshop Pro, not Photoshop. I found Photoshop incredibly hard to use and hard to figure out. Could somebody please tell me though, what makes it so much better than Paintshop?
