Utley and my first pick for A. Soriano

Postby zpoole » Mon Mar 02, 2009 10:44 am

It would be my first pick which is in the 20th round and Utley for Alfonso Soriano.

Is this a good value for Utley? or should i target someone better/younger than Soriano. It would be an upgrade over Ethier in LF.

8 team keeper.

No, it's terrible value for Utley. Why are you trying to deal him? #1, he fits very well in your IF spot and isn't forcing anyone worthwhile out, and #2, you're selling low. People are still worried about the injury (including you, it appears), and you won't be able to get a player of equal value back. Hold on to Utley, especially with the injury risk that Kinsler carries.

Utley alone is a better player and MUCH better keeper than Soriano...and you're giving a pick? Awful deal.
