I offered in Trade Joe Mauer/Nelson Cruz for Matt Kemp/Aaron Harand, his current catchers are Matt Weiter and Jeff Clement. Is this a good trade?

Also if trade goes through should I waive Hafner for Cameron Maybin, Elijah Dukes, Travis Snider, Carlos Gomez or Juan Pierre.

i am a big kemp fan but with teh scarcity of catchers try to get a better pitcher in return. but either way its solid for ya

The only other Pitchers he has is Oswalt/Peavey, Rich Hill and F.Hernandez, he is also probably the only active person in the league besides me, he offered Harang for Sandoval/Cruz earlier

I can't see the trade happening. Kemp and Harang are far more valuable than Mauer and Cruz. I would be insulted if someone offered me their Mauer and Cruz for my Kemp and Harang. If you are getting Kemp and Harang out of the deal, do it immediately.

In a 12 team league, Barmes shouldn't be owned. Drop him and Hafner for Dukes and Maybin.

I would but I like to have the postion backup and between Barmes and Sandoval I think I am covered, also Barmes is slated to be the starting 2b in Colorado But I could drop Hafner/Barmes for Khalil Greene, and Ian Stewart and have only Lind as my back up OF. Smoltz is available now as well, the only pitcher that seems reasonable to part with is Ray, but I have probably 2 of the most injury prone closers in Wood and Gonzalez. Decisions decisions decisions lol

i would easily take that trade for kemp.

drop barmes for maybin


honestly, i would consider moving mauer AND martin if you can get some real good value back. you definitely don't need 3 catcher eligible players on your squad. if you can get a peavy or hamels for martin i would take it.

I don't think he'll take that trade but I like it from your perspective. I'd probably hang onto Martin and Sandoval for now. I'd drop Hafner for Maybin.

3 catchers in a one catcher league? Make the offer, hope he accepts, and for the love of god flip Kemp for some decent pitching in the secondary ace tier (Webb, Hamels, Halladay, Haren). Drop Hafner for Dukes and his 20/20 potential.
