I am contemplating trading Dice K and Lackey for Prince Fielder and Brian Wilson. It's a 12 team H2H league.
I am a strong believer that pitchers are easy to find where as finding a bat like a Prince Fielder on the wire is almost impossible to do.
I also use a strategy of pitch and ditch where I am not afraid to use the wire to find pitchers with a specific good match-up.
If I am to accept this deal it'd hurt my pitching staff no doubt, but as stated above I usually play match-ups with pitchers on the wire.
My line-up AFTER the trade would look like this...
C-Dioner Navarro
1B- Prince Fielder
2B- Chase Utley
3B- Miguel Cabrera
SS- Jhonny Peralta
OF- Manny Ramirez
OF- Jacoby Ellsbury
OF- Jay Bruce
Util- Adrian Gonzalez
Bench- Chris Davis
I could always look to trade Davis/Gonzalez for a starting pitcher or two.
SP-Vazquez, Greinke, Bedard, Garza, Meche, Hughes, Smoltz
RP-Bell, Francisco, Wilson, Balfour
What should I do?

You already have very good hitting... you don't need the HR and RBI. Keep Dice-K and Lackey... actually if you can trade Dice-K for someone like billingsley or Liriano. do it.

I would never deal offense for pitching. Pitching is plentiful if you know where to look. If you have to trade Davis, he's just gonna rot on your bench anyway.

I get Fielder and Wilson and give Dice K and Lackey...
Now I am confused... Should I do it?
