FAs can be kept for a 15th Round Pick (Escalates for two seasons)
WW Additions to Yahoo (Ex. Top Prospect called up, picked up by person with top priority) CANNOT be kept
WW drops (Player A is drafted in the 10th round, dropped, and picked up by Team 1, Team 1 must give up a 10th round pick to keep him) are kept for the round they were originally drafted

Choice Three
FAs/WW Pick ups (Both additions and drops) are all 15 round Picks

Choice Four
FAs/WW Pick Ups are 15th round Picks
WW additions cannot be kept

I'll say right now I'm strongly opposed to choice three.

Just to clarify since I have never done a league where keepers occupy a specific round. What if I have two players I keep that both represent a player from the same round? How does that affect the next seasons draft?

If you draft Player A in the 10th Round and add Player B who was dropped after being selected in the 10th round, you forfeit a 10th and a 9th round pick.

I haven't played at Yahoo for about 10 years so I need a refresher before I vote. When a player first gets called up from the minors, I am assuming he goes on waivers for 2 days and if no one claims him, he becomes a free agent. Is that true?

If that is true, then my next question concerns Choice 2:

Should I interpret this to mean if a player gets called up and claimed off waivers, he can not be kept? But if a player gets called up, doesn't get claimed off waivers and goes into the FA pool after 2 days, he can be picked up and used as a keeper at the cost of a 15th rounder?

If my understanding is accurate, that sounds like a fair policy.

I still don't really understand why we don't want to be able to keep WW pickups.
