I can't believe the Marlins didn't get anything for him.
McPherson's mega-power must he worth something.
He could be the next Jack Cust or Carlos Pena - maybe the Pirates will sign him and chuck him into LF instead of Nyjer Morgan. :-?

The Astros should sign him to replace Geoff Blum.

Well, that'll probably be Keppinger not Blum anyways but McPherson should sign with the Astros right now.

well, i'm pretty sure keppinger will start off only batting against lefties. if blum sucks bad enough, or if keppinger does better than expected, that could change. either way, i agree they should sign mcpherson...just hope they don't. on the bright side, i do have eric bruntlett!

My 16 team Dynasty League drafted way back on the 8th of March and I picked up Dallas at #429 overall. Been watching him loose out on making the team all spring training and I started scrounging around on the waiver wire the last few days trying figure who to drop him for, now he gets released. Good news for me. I hope he gets picked up somewhere and gets some playing time.

No, he poured himself a glass of water in the clubhouse and didn't pay for it. ;-7
