In a 300 dollar auction league, I have a Corey Hart for 11, then 16, and then 21. Could trade him for James Loney at 6, then 11, then 16. WHIR

I'm surprised everyone is for this. Not sure why because I like it too, but personally I rank Loney a bit higher than most. He'll never hit 40 home runs, but he'll being an amazing gap hitter to all sides of the park and find a way to drive in runs. Think of him as a young Lyle Overbay with a higher ceiling and a little bit more power.

I was surprised that people were in favor of this as well. The other aspect to this is I can renegotiate another contract now that i don't have to renegotiate Hart's. I could get rid of Carlos Guillen for 19 this year, again with loney being 6 and hart being 19. WHIR
