im in 2 keeper leagues, one we keep 10 the other we keep 6
everyone is saying that u shouldnt keep a closer that u can get someone in the draft and not hurt your team. im having trouble letting go of k-rod. i have him in both leagues. im gonna keep him in the 10 keeper league but im not sure about the 6 keeper league. can someone explain y i shouldnt keep potentially the best closer in the leage( has been points wise the last 3 years)

I never keep Pitchers because there are very unpredictable, look at Lidge In 2006.

worth keeping in a 10 keeper league for sure. he isn't a great value in a 6 keeper league, but if you only have garbage, go ahead.
i am keeping rivera and soria in a 12 team 13 keeper league of mine, and i think i'd be insane not to. and i'm letting some ok guys go.
i'm the guy that puts the "nip" in omnipotent...

H2H format is the worst format for keeping a closer. We all know closers are unpredictable because you never know when a save chance will come. H2H format is even more unpredictable for closers. For example one week a pitcher may collect three saves the next week he may collect zero. Saves are the only commodity a closer brings in a H2H format, the other categories are pretty much useless due to the small amount of innings a closer will throw each week. In roto a closer will throw 60-80 innings a year and collectively those numbers will ultimately help out your totals.
I am not just throwing out an opinion here, I have played in a very competitive H2H League for the last 5 years and have come to this conclusion.
