Should I still have hope?

Postby Bigball » Thu Feb 26, 2009 11:03 pm

I am in a deep Dynasty league with 15 minor league spots on the roster.

I drafted over the last 3 years.Should they stay or go?

Donald Veal: Move to Pits from Chicago and I am not sure he will ever end up with his Curve of the past(post surgery). I project him to be middle relief or a one pitch pony. Any news? The kid has stuff but will he ever amount to a fantasy worthy SP?

Chuck Lofgren:What happened to this guy? He has lost his confidence and looks like he has dropped off the map?

Blake Hawksworth:Pitched the Spring opener and had some success. Not sure he is going to amount to anything.

I have:
Anderson, Bryan D. C STL
Colvin, Tyler LF CHC
Crowe, Trevor OF CLE
Martinez, Fernando F. OF NYM
Martinez, Jose OF CHW
Tabata, Jose OF PIT
Gamel, Mat 3B MIL

Minors Pitchers
Detwiler, Ross SP WAS
Morales, Franklin SP COL
Aumont, Phillippe SP SEA

Graduated:
Ramirez, Alexei 2B CHW
Escobar,Yunel
Morrow,Brandon
Danks,John

How many teams in the league? With 15 players on every roster each one is gonna have a few guys that aren't "quality"

I like Veal, but I don't think he is worth the roster spot. Neither are the other two.

I'd also drop a few more guys off your list as well. Might be time to open up a bunch of roster space and redraft. I'd keep your pitchers Fernando Martinez, and Gamel, I'd toss the rest back.

16 Teams - so there are always a few prospects that you have they may or may not turn out.Just deep...

I like Tabata too along with Gamel and Martinez and will see who I can get in this years draft.

League is established with quality GM's so we will see what happens - Lofgren was a top prospect who I took high in our first minor league ' draft 4 years ago.....The only players usually available are players who were drafted last year in June or prospects who have flown under the radar...

I am looking for some deep prospects since I will need to rebuild my farm team with late round picks.

I have a few players I have watched here in the Cape Cod League...

I'd cut a few of those guys for sure. Here is my top 300 that might help you find a couple guys. If you have questions on a guy post in the comments and I will reply.
