I offered Adrian Gonzalez, he offered Evin Santana. The trade is pending for league approval. Which is no guarantee because I am in a crap league where every trade gets vetoed (already 1 objection). What do you think of this trade??????

So you dealt a bat that has shown nothing but consistency and improvement for his 3 full Major League seasons, and in return you got a starter that was really good last year, but struggled to put it together previously. To boot, you have 7 other SP that are all very capable of being above average.
I am not high on Big Erv, so I think you take the raw end of this one. If you have a UTIL or DH spot, I really don't like your deal.
But as the previous poster said, nothing vetoable about it. I just am scared to death of Santana for some reason this year.
I was thinking that I could replace Adrian with Hawpe and I am keeping an eye also on Nelson Cruz also. I wanted a little more pitching depth. After Billingsly and Matsuzaka, I have young pitchers who could be good, but I wanted someone else who had success in the major, like Santana. I probably may not have done this trade in a roto league, but since its h2h, I feel hawpe or cruz will suffice.
Not a terrible trade but I think you could've gotten more of a sure thing than Santana. He's still a bit risky imo having only really put it all together for one season.
I would've tried for a Webb or Hamels type starter.
I don't mind it but I think you could have gotten slightly better a pitcher. If this trade gets vetoed get out of the league. Find another league that you can enjoy.
