i was at the Orioles- Mets game today, and i've got the sunburn to prove it.
Dan Murphy is a professional hitter.
Nick Evans went 3-4 and scored 3 runs... none of his hits were extraordinarily well hit, though.
Fernando Martinez looked foolish in his first at bat on a curveball by Chris Waters... whoever that is.
Luis Castillo had 4 RBIs... and I still hate him.
Church looked like he was back, going 2-3 with 3 RBIs and probably the best hit ball of the day (a double to deep center)
Adam Jones looked pretty bad at the plate, but made an amazing catch in short center field.

Beckett looked sharp in his outing against BC today for what it's worth (probably worth less than the words I just typed).
Buchholz appears to be back to his normal arm slot after trying to tweak with it last season. He's still unlikely to be up with the big club at the start of the season with all of the other SP arms the Sox have. He'll have an impact on the big league and fantasy clubs at some point this season though.

huh? I would hope not. Take it for what it is worth. He said we were looking for late round flyers, not for guys that are going to come out and become the top rated fantasy baseball player.
i just don't see that happening much any more.
with that being said, Travis Ishikawa hit 2 home runs today. the power is real, i am thinking of picking him in the first round of my keeper draft.
