Jennings, who had surgery to repair a torn flexor tendon in his right elbow last May, has been throwing batting practice early in the morning on the back fields and is scheduled to throw a simulated game on Sunday. If that goes well, he could be pitching in a Cactus League game sometime next week.
"I've passed all the tests so far," Jennings said. "Hopefully I keep making the same progress. It's frustrating going slow but I understanding the reasoning."
