how would you rank the top 3B prospects in terms of offensive upside?

What type of numbers would you project for Alverez and Wallace as pros?

Alvarez projects to hit .300+, 30 hr, 100 rbi.
Wallace will hit for a higher avg, a little less power and is less likely to stay at 3B.

Here is my list of top 3B..Viciedo maybe should be higher, but we will see.

Something to remember is that some SS prospects like Carlos Truinfel and Todd Frazier may move from SS to 3B, I think Rowell is destined for 1B/DH duty and some of these guys are blocked pretty heavily as well which could force a move or trade.

Yup. Position should be one of the last things you look at anyway when trying to acquire young talent...just get the best players available and let the rest play itself out when that time comes. Sooo many things can happen that if you worry too much about position you'll be left wondering what happened. A guy could take a little longer to make it to the big club or to even be good once he does make it up, he could switch positions, he could flame out and never be fantasy worthy, etc, etc, etc

If you have Alvarez in your minor league system and you really don't have a 2B in your system....you don't pass up on a Moustakas, Dominguez type for a lower tier 2B prospect just because you already have Alvarez and you don't have a 2B.

These guys have a shot at some time this year...hard saying at what point they'll see that time because it will all depend on how they are playing at the time or if an injury pops up.
