Right now I'm leaning towards Wright, Fielder, Bay, Markakis, Granderson and E. Santana. I hate to let Dice-K and Ichiro go, so I'll listen to arguments as to why I should pick them over my top 6.
With H and Ks as offensive categories, that really inflates Ichiro's worth big time, and Brian Roberts as well. I would definitely keep one of those 2 over Ervin, and I'd definitely consider keeping both and leaving Jason Bay off the team.
So, I'd keep Wright, Fielder, Markakis, Granderson, Ichiro, and Roberts (though you could consider Bay here I suppose, NOT santana). I'd probably lean slightly toward Bay if you didn't have your 3 OF spots already set. You'd be better off looking for DH instead of a 2B (along with a C, SS, and Pitchers) in my opinion. In my mind the slight advantage of Bay this year, and slight advantage of being 1 year younger and playing a position that ages better, does not outweigh your relative positional need for Roberts, and the advantage Roberts gives you in those extra categories (I have Roberts getting 15 more hits, and striking out 45 less times which is pretty significant).
Remember, Bay is only going 3 spots ahead of Roberts in drafts this year, and that isn't counting the extra cats and your positional need.
